The Icare Tonovet is specifically designed for veterinary use and allows easy and accurate intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement in small animals and horses. The device does not require calibration, with pressure measurements based on the rebound principle where a very lightweight probe makes momentary gentle contact with the cornea. The process is painless and well tolerated by the patient. It does not require local anaesthetic application to the eye and causes minimal anxiety or stress. Comes complete with disposable probes, requires 4 x 'AA' batteries (included). Made in Finland.
