Supramid suture is made up of many fine inner nylon fibres which are enclosed in a smooth outer nylon shell, resulting in a smooth material that feels like a monofilament. Supramid is easier to tie thatn traditional nylon and has greater know security. It gives permanent support and is highly flexible.
