The Kruuse Walk-On platform scale has many interesting features and benefits. The high-quality stainless steel platform has a removable rubber mat, which prevents animals slipping, but enables easy cleaning. The platform is very low profile, only 6cm high, so as to not deter patients from mounting it. The control unit has a large-number LCD screen, and is simple to operate, lb or kg. The custom-developed software enables capture of accurate weights even when the animal is moving around. Stored weights can be retrieved, even when the patient has dismounted.
