The latest model CX 23 microscope from Olympus is cast from aluminium, making it one of the lightest microscopes in its class at just 5.9kg. The 10 x magnification eyepieces are adjustable for an inter-pupillary distance of 48 - 75mm and each eyepiece can be individually focused to accommodate the user. Their Field Number (FN) of 20 provides a wide range of view. The microscope comes with plan achromat infinity objectives from 4x to 100x (oil immersion) with long working distances to keep specimens safe. Specimens are mounted on a mechanical stage with a travelling range of 76mm x 30mm. The built in LED light offers excellent colour clarity and will give 20,000 hours of service and offers very low power consumption when left on overnight! The new smooth and rounded design eliminates all sharp edges and includes coloured grips and carrying arm to make it easy and safe to shift around.
