Single lumen polyurethane catheter foruse in pyothorax, pneumothorax, emergency peritoneal lavage and as a pericardial drain. It is inserted using the catheter-over-guidewire technique and has a normally closed valve with luer adaptors to prevent air fromn entering the chest. Suture wings allow secure adjustment and attachment. Kit includes introducers, 60cm guidewire, catheter, suture wings, normally-closed valve and tethered cap. Available as 14g x 20cm with 4cm of fenestration, 14g x 20cm with 8cm of fenestration and as 12g x 30cm with 15cm fenestration.
