Microheamatocrit centrifuge tubes are available in plain glass or Mylar-coated glass, heparinized and non-heparinized. The Mylar coating significantly reduces accidental breakage, particularly when pressing the tubes into sealing clay. Even if the tube does crack, the Mylar coating will help retain the sample and reduce the chance of cuts from the glass. The tubes are all 75mm long, and supplied in a vial of 200. Not suitable for use in the Statspin centrifuge.
