Open-ended silicone catheter with distal balloon and two-way fitting for targeted equine lung lavage, supplied sterile and reusable with ETO sterilisation recommended.
This is an open-ended silicone catheter for the lavage of selected segments of the equine lung field. The 50cc distal balloon is inflated to prevent retrograde fluid flow. The proximal two-way fitting allows simultaneous irrigation and aspiration. Supplied sterile and able to be autoclaved for reuse, but remove the stopcock first as it will melt. ETO sterilisation preferred if available.
